Yacht Charter from Trogir: The Quiet Alternative to Split

A lot of “Split” charters really leave from Trogir, and that's no bad thing. This little UNESCO-listed town sits just west of Split — actually closer to the airport (SPU) than Split city is — and its marinas (SCT Trogir, ACI Trogir, plus nearby Kaštela and Seget) hold a big slice of the central-Dalmatian fleet.

Why start from Trogir

• Closest to the airport. Transfers are 10–15 minutes, so you can be aboard fast on turnaround Saturday.
• Calmer than Split city. Easier embarkation, less traffic, simpler provisioning right by the marinas.

• Often better value. Base prices around Trogir/Kaštela can run a touch below Split city for the same boat.

Before you sail

Trogir's old town is worth an evening before or after your charter — a compact medieval core you can walk in an hour. Provision at the big supermarket in Kaštela or Trogir before leaving; the islands have only small shops. Then it's a short first hop to Šolta or straight across to the Pakleni islands.
